What Day Is One Month From Today?
one month from today is —. One month from today means the same date, next month — March 10 → April 10. But if today is January 31, 'one month from today' isn't February 31 (doesn't exist), so it becomes February 28 or 29.
Quick note: "one month from today" and "30 days from today" are NOT always the same. Calendar months vary from 28 to 31 days, while day counts are fixed. If you need exact day-counting, use the day-count calculator instead.
Month-Counting vs. Day-Counting
Most contracts and casual plans mean "calendar month" — same date, later month. So "one month from the 15th" is the 15th of next month, regardless of whether next month has 28, 30, or 31 days.
The exception is month-end dates. If today is the 31st and next month has only 30 days, one month from today typically rolls back to the 30th, not forward to the 1st. Our calculator above handles this rule.
