Suspect At Large in Crash that Killed Santa Rosa Homeless Woman

SANTA ROSA, CA – Santa Rosa Police are looking for a suspect connected to a deadly hit and run crash. Officials say the suspect has been identified as 53-year-old Clifford Adams, who fled the Roseland neighborhood scene and is still at large. An argument between Adams and another man happened off of Sebastopol Road and Roberts Avenue on Tuesday night. Adams then got into his car and drove it at the other man, hitting him in the legs. The car then ran into 43-year-old Kellie Jones and the tent she was standing in front of, pinning her under the car. Jones was pronounced dead at the scene. The other man involved in the initial argument was sent to the hospital for treatment.
