SANTA ROSA, CA – A woman lost her life following a deadly hit-and-run accident on Roberts Avenue and Sebastopol Road on Tuesday night.
As per the Santa Rosa Police Department, at about 9:48 p.m., two men had an argument. Afterwards, one of the men went into a vehicle and traveled south on Roberts Avenue. He drove across the eastbound lane and ran down a female in front of a tent. Following which, the driver ran away from the scene on foot.
On arrival, responders found the woman under the vehicle that struck her. Furthermore, Santa Rosa Firefighters rescued the victim and conducted life-saving measures. However, she died on the scene. In additions, responders transported the second man involved in the argument to a local hospital with non-serious injuries.
The incident is under review.
